Why NELL provides one-to-one consultations with the clinic director

NELL · Clinic director

The same clinic director oversees each guest's assessment, plan and treatment

Some guests arrive with a list of treatments they want completed in one visit. Our consultation often starts by reducing that list. This article explains the assessment and why NELL assigns the same clinic director throughout.

What a consultation involves

A consultation does more than confirm requested treatments: it identifies the layer behind the concern. A less defined face may result from weakened fascia, reduced skin elasticity or volume loss, each requiring a different approach. The doctor reviews your skin, type of laxity and previous treatments before deciding what to include, omit and perform first.

Often, one requested treatment is unnecessary for now, while another is better replaced by a more basic approach.

Why the same clinic director stays responsible

At NELL, each guest is paired one-to-one with a clinic director who oversees planning and treatment. The doctor making the decisions also carries them out, so the reasoning behind the plan is reflected in the procedure. During follow-up after returning home, that doctor knows the dose and reasons for the treatment rather than having to infer them.

What NELL avoids

  • Avoiding overtreatment and supporting the skin's own repair capacity
  • Avoiding one-size-fits-all plans
  • Maintaining full doses and pulse counts with genuine products for every treatment
  • Avoiding additional treatments simply to increase the treatment list

These four principles come from NELL's six commitments and guide the doctor's decisions during consultation.

Questions worth asking

  • Which of my concerns does this treatment address?
  • What happens if I do not have it now?
  • Is there a more basic or conservative approach?
  • When might changes appear, and how will we assess them?
  • How should I contact you after returning home, and what should I send the doctor?

Understanding these answers matters more than adding another treatment.
