Your first visit to NELL: from booking to departure

NELL clinic reception lobby

NELL first-floor reception; consultations and treatments take place on levels 1–2

Many guests are visiting Korea for aesthetic treatments for the first time and have questions about the process. This article explains the three stages in order: before departure, your clinic visit and after returning home.

1–2 weeks before departure

Contact us on WeChat
Describe your concerns, treatments of interest and planned visit date. Send a front-facing photo without makeup for a preliminary assessment before consultation.
Reserve a consultation with the clinic director
Once the date and approximate time are confirmed, we arrange your consultation in advance. We are open until 21:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays, which can suit guests with daytime plans.
Confirm before departure
Confirm your arrival time on WeChat a day or two before departure. Let us know promptly if your flight changes so we can adjust your booking.

Tell us at this stage about recent treatments, especially fillers or thread lifting, and any anticoagulant medication. Your doctor will take these into account when planning treatment.

On the day of your visit

Getting here

Our address is 60 Seomyeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, Busan, levels 1–2 (Seomyeon Centum Medical Tower). Take metro line 1 to Seomyeon Station, exit 7, then walk about 3 minutes. From Gimhae Airport, take the light rail to Sasang Station, then line 2 to Seomyeon Station, approximately 45 minutes; a taxi takes about 30 minutes. From Busan Station (KTX), take line 1 directly, approximately 10 minutes. For detailed directions, see Visit guide

What happens after arrival

  • Reception registration— present your passport and complete your details and medical history questionnaire
  • Consultation with the clinic director— assess your skin, decide which treatments to include or exclude, and receive a plan and quotation
  • Confirmation and consent— review the precautions, sign the consent form and make payment
  • Treatment— treatments requiring topical anesthesia begin with 30–40 minutes of numbing cream before entering the treatment room
  • Aftercare instructions— before leaving, receive instructions for that day and the following days, and connect on WeChat for follow-up

Consultation and treatment usually take 1.5–3 hours, depending on the number of treatments. Allow enough time. Please confirm Chinese-language assistance and available payment methods when booking.

What to bring

Your passport, photos of your main concerns, records of previous treatments or medication, and readiness to remove makeup. Do not arrive on an empty stomach.

After treatment and returning home

Normal activities are generally possible on the day of most nonsurgical treatments, and many guests continue their itinerary that day or the next. Mild redness or swelling may last hours to days. Injections can occasionally cause small bruises that usually fade within a week. Avoid saunas, strenuous exercise and alcohol for 1–2 weeks, and maintain moisturizing and sun protection. Follow the clinic's specific discharge instructions.

After returning home, send photos and questions on WeChat for the doctor's reply. Follow-up visits and further sessions can also be arranged there.

Suggestions for your itinerary

  • Avoid Sundays and Korean public holidays, when the clinic is closed
  • Saturday hours end at 15:00; consider a weekday for multiple treatments
  • Lunch break is 13:00–14:00; book in the morning or after 14:00 where possible
  • Allow a longer stay for multiple treatments, as some need to be spaced apart
  • Avoid activities requiring makeup or strong sun exposure on treatment day
  • Allow a buffer before your return flight; do not rush to the airport immediately after treatment
