How many treatments in one trip? Common combinations and intervals

Treatment combinations

Same-day treatment and intervals depend on the treatment type and skin condition, with the final decision made at consultation

Many guests want several treatments during a trip to Busan. Whether they can be performed on the same day and how far apart they should be depends on the treatments, areas and current skin condition. These are common arrangements; your own plan is determined at consultation.

Three treatment categories

  • Energy-based treatments— Ulthera, Thermage, Sofwave and lasers act on skin through heat or light. Normal activities are generally possible the same day; some lasers cause a brief period of crusting or redness
  • Injectables— Juvelook, Rejuran, skin boosters, botulinum toxin and fillers may cause 2–3 days of swelling and small bruises
  • Skincare treatments— cleansing, infusion and soothing care generally involve little downtime and often complement other treatments

Common combinations

Lifting + tightening

Ulthera provides deeper lifting while Thermage addresses skin tightening. They act at different depths and are commonly combined. Your doctor decides whether to perform them together or separately according to your skin condition.

Lifting + skin quality

Juvelook or Rejuran can address texture and fine lines after Ulthera or Thermage. Energy-based treatment is commonly performed before injections, or the sessions are arranged on separate days.

Injectables + injectables

Botulinum toxin with fillers or Juvelook is often performed in the same session, with each treatment addressing a different concern or layer.

Laser + injectables

Skin usually needs several days to settle after laser treatment, so injections are generally spaced apart. Your doctor determines the sequence.

An example for a 4–5-day trip

Day 1
Visit for consultation and confirm the plan; complete the first group of treatments, usually energy-based, that day.
Days 2–3
Rest or explore while observing your skin's response. Arrange a second group of treatments, such as injections, during these days if needed.
The day before departure
Avoid new treatments. If needed, attend a review to confirm aftercare and follow-up once home.

Situations to avoid

  • Repeating energy-based treatments on the same area during one trip
  • Scheduling a treatment with swelling the day before returning home
  • Important events or prolonged sun exposure immediately after treatment
  • Adding treatments that were not recommended at consultation just to fill your itinerary
Tell your doctor your travel plans

Explain how long you will stay in Busan, your return date and any important events afterward. This helps the doctor plan the sequence and intervals, placing treatments requiring recovery earlier.
