Juvelook is not a filler: how collagen stimulation works

Juvelook

Juvelook improves skin quality itself; fullness develops through new collagen rather than physical filling

The day after Juvelook treatment, some guests ask why there is little visible change. This is a common misunderstanding: Juvelook is not a space-filling filler. It encourages the skin to produce collagen, so changes take several weeks and develop gradually.

Fillers and collagen stimulators are different

Hyaluronic acid filler remains where it is injected and immediately fills depressions, with visible changes during treatment.Juvelook contains polymer PDLLA and hyaluronic acid. Once injected into the dermis, PLA particles stimulate surrounding tissue to produce collagen as they gradually break down. The resulting fullness and firmness come from increased collagen.

Juvelook and Juvelook Volume

Both share the same ingredients but differ in particle size and concentration. Standard Juvelook uses finer particles injected into the dermis to address wrinkles, pores, scars and elasticity. Juvelook Volume has larger particles and a higher concentration, and is injected into subcutaneous tissue where additional volume is needed. Both may be used on the same face at different depths.

Treatment timing

Because results depend on collagen production, Juvelook is usually planned as a course rather than a single high-volume injection. Most guests need more than one session. The clinic director plans the number and interval according to the area, skin condition and previous response. Assessment is generally made after 6–8 weeks rather than one week.

For overseas guests, we discuss the treatment schedule and follow-up after returning home during consultation. Further injections can be coordinated with a future trip.

Which concerns may it address?

  • Forehead fine lines, eye-area wrinkles and shallow under-eye grooves
  • Fine lines around the mouth and deeper neck lines
  • Enlarged pores and a desire for firmer skin texture
  • Age-related loss of elasticity
  • A preference for natural changes without an obvious treated look
  • A preference for minimal disruption to daily life
A note from the doctor

Juvelook is an injectable treatment and may cause swelling, bruising or, less commonly, nodules. Injection depth and dosage matter. Choose genuine products and an experienced injecting doctor. NELL uses genuine products at the planned dose, available to check before treatment.
